Mini‐Abstract A 70‐year‐old man submitted to a routine echocardiogram was diagnosed of an aortic mass by transthoracic echocardiography. Three‐dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (3DTEE) revealed a mobile and pedunculated mass attached to the noncoronary cusp of the aortic valve, suggestive of an aortic fibroelastoma. 3DTEE allowed a perfect characterization of the tumor. Because of their size and mobility, surgical resection was advised. Surgery confirmed the diagnosis of aortic fibroelastoma and showed the utility of 3DTEE to take the correct therapeutic attitude.
