Back in the 1980s, the design education community found itself scrambling to find designers who were trained on the latest software and could teach it to others. Technologies continue to change. What other new content are we faced with as educators? More specialization; larger teams; more need for “cultural experts”; more scrutiny of the design process; and, of course, new technologies. Design educators ponder what's on the horizon.
