On behalf of the BPNA Local Organising Committee and BPNA Scientific Committee, it is with great pleasure that the British Paediatric Neurology Association welcomes you to the 43rd Annual Conference in the Concert Hall of Cambridge University. The Annual Conference signals the most important calendar event in the BPNA year when all members can meet to share clinical knowledge and to discuss and debate approaches to clinical practice. This year’s programme once again promises a rich variety of invited lectures strongly supported by original research representing the cutting-edge of child neurology. Much of this work has been conducted by our members in training or engaged in full-time research and provides an opportunity to listen and learn from the paediatric neurologists of the future. The BPNA is proud to invite Dr Adam Kirton from Alberta Children’s Hospital, Calgary, Canada, to deliver the 2017 MacKeith Guest Lecture: ‘Advancing non-invasive neuromodulation trials in children: Lessons from perinatal stroke.’ As always, the Conference Dinner at King’s College offers a wonderful opportunity to unwind in a wonderful setting and then to join in the celebrated BPNA Ceilidh dancing. Looking forward to seeing you at the conference, Jean-Pierre Sao Ming LIN
