Cover Photograph: Formation of a feather primordium on a bioengineered skin: The feather primordium is composed of bilayered beta‐catenin (green)‐expressing epithelium and condensed mesenchyme. The upper layer of the epithelium is ZO‐1 (magenta)‐expressing periderm, suggesting that the epithelial layer has been formed through proper rearrangement of epithelial cells. See Ishida et al. (pp. 141–149).
