This report for the first time describes the cytological findings of combined large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) and spindle cell carcinoma of the lung, a rare combined variant of large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. This entity is identified in FNAC by the characteristic finding of a dual cell population with distinct features of LCNEC and spindle cell/giant cell carcinoma.
