Secretory carcinoma is a recently described salivary gland neoplasm that shares the same histological appearance and ETV6 gene (12p13) rearrangement as secretory carcinoma of the breast. The major cytological differential diagnoses include myoepithelioma, myoepithelial carcinoma and acinic cell carcinoma. A case of secretory carcinoma of the parotid in a middle aged man is presented which was diagnosed on fine needle aspiration cytology and immunocytochemistry on cell‐block.
