Primary Pulmonary Hodgkin Lymphoma ( PPHL ) is a very rarely documented presentation of this disease consisting of 1% of all lymphomas; very few cases of PPHL are reported as partially cavitated, cystic lesions in the lung. TUS ‐ FNA represents a minimally invasive and safe procedure even in patients with cystic lesions, usually challenging for a core needle biopsy. CB obtained by TUS ‐ FNA resulted in an adequate sample available for additional analysis useful for lymphoma subtyping. An accurate diagnosis was reached avoiding more aggressive diagnostic procedures and without any treatment delay.
