LF is a rare benign fibrous tumor of infancy and childhood characterized by slow growth, infiltrative margins and local recurrence post incomplete excision. FNAC may be diagnostic if the skeletal muscle fragments are seen admixed with the fibroblastic and adipocytic components in a proper clinical context.
