Thyroid follicular adenoma with numerous intracytoplasmic lumina mimicking yellow bodies: a case report

Intracytoplasmic lumina are present in cells in a variety of adenocarcinomas, particularly breast. However, as this case report highlights, in thyroid cytology they may also be seen in benign lesions and must not be confused with yellow bodies.
