Summary Coelogyne cymbidioides Rchb.f., formerly known as Gynoglottis cymbidioides (Rchb.f.) J.J.Sm . from the mountains of Sumatra, is illustrated from a plant flowering at Kew. Its taxonomy, habitat in the wild and pollination are discussed. Details of its successful cultivation are given.
