Summary Agapanthus campanulatus F.M. Leighton, an endemic from southern Africa is illustrated and described. Its relationship to closely related species is depicted in a key to the Section Lilacinipollini Zonn. Notes on the history, contemporary changes in taxonomy and cultivation of the genus are included.
