Lymph Node Metastasis after total mesorectal dissection (TME) in low rectal cancer is a challenging condition to manage. The incidence is not known but estimated to be around 20% in locally advanced low rectal cancer [1,2]. The prognosis of patients with lymph node metastasis following TME surgery is poor and surgery may be the only curative option [3,4,5,6]. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
