Summary This review focuses on contact dermatitis as an adverse effect of a selection of topically used herbal medicinal products for which the E uropean M edicines A gency has completed an evaluation up to the end of N ovember 2013 and for which a C ommunity herbal monograph – now (since 2014) called a ‘ E uropean U nion herbal monograph’ – has been produced. The present part 4 addresses species from S olidago virgaurea L . to V itis vinifera L .
