Summary The MS 1/ SVR system, in which MS 1 represents immortalized endothelial cells and SVR represents MS 1 cells transformed with oncogenic human–rat sarcoma protein (H‐Ras), has been used for around 20 years as a valuable tool to study angiogenesis and carcinogenesis. Despite the use of these cells in numerous studies, a comprehensive profile of the signalling differences due to oncogenic H‐Ras transformation has not been performed previously. In this study, we profiled the well‐known MS 1 and SVR cell lines using a combination of both Western blot and gene chip assays.
