Key Messages There is an important, under‐explored relationship between deteriorating work conditions in the neoliberal university and the deteriorating well‐being and health of women working at universities. Women faculty struggle with fertility, mental health and well‐being, and other physical manifestations of stress. There are many strategies that universities, departments, and individuals can pursue to improve work conditions for all university faculty.
