Summary We provide a review of the pathological and clinical features for uncommon B‐cell and T‐cell lymphomas of childhood with a specific focus on advances in treatment approaches and outcomes. There is clearly a need for prospective investigation of both the clinical and biological features of the uncommon non‐Hodgkin lymphoma subtypes in childhood. These results should lead to more uniform and more effective treatment approaches.
