Summary Computer assisted language learning has been with us for some forty years. However, this book goes beyond the traditional tips that many books offer to give both a theoretical and practical approach based on socio‐cultural theory. In this way, it leaves behind the traditional here‐and‐now use of information technology in language learning to provide a sound construct.
