Summary The editors set out to present and unite writings to assist teacher readers to concern themselves less with serving up content and more with creating socially relevant experiences, and, by melding theory and practice, with providing guidance for online learners to support their cognitive processes. Some of the writers succeed in that, but the overall impression is of a fragmented collection. If the content of this book is likely to be relevant to you, I advise that you will probably find only parts of it of interest or use.J ohn C owan
