Summary Background Patients with inflammatory bowel disease ( IBD ) on certain immunosuppressants have increased herpes zoster ( HZ ) risk. Aim To determine the risk of HZ in IBD and how antitumour necrosis factor‐alpha (anti‐ TNF ) agents affect this risk.
