In this paper the author pulls out themes that weave throughout the collection of papers. In particular, listening and learning become two “methodologies” of engaged, embodied, heritage praxis. Drawing on twenty years of work in heritage archaeology, the author attempts to recontextualize her embodied experiences of research and collaboration within the theorized frameworks and case studies found in the papers.
