This section is for brief reports of current research, comments on research as well as in‐depth comments on the profession. Research reports should stress the significance of the work rather than details; commentary should extend beyond the immediacy of the Correspondence columns. As a membership service the section is open to all Association members. All manuscripts are subject to review by editorial consultants. Those accepted will appear in the earliest Anthropology Newsletter when spacing and layout permit. Manuscripts must be typed, double‐spaced, on nonerasable bond and submitted in triplicate; otherwise, they will be returned to the author. Photos and drawings are welcome when appropriate; however, they must be camera ready.
