ON THE COVER : Galahahaaytk, or Man‐Made Island, a defensive village site constructed by the Gitga'ata people of the Northwest Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Gitga'ata oral traditions and archaeology provide details about the lives lived at Galahahaaytk.
