On the cover this month: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is well recognized as a common infection, both among recipients awaiting liver and/or kidney transplantation and donors available for liver donation. The advent of highly effective, direct‐acting, antiviral agents is markedly changing the treatment paradigm for recipients and the calculus for assessing donor organ risk. This month, we present findings from the American Society of Transplantation's Consensus Conference on the use of HCV viremic donors (Levitsky et al, page 2790), and two original articles (Kling et al, page 2863, and Dharancy et al, page 2869) addressing this rapidly evolving clinical scenario. We also continue our series of Comprehensive Reviews on Cancer in Transplantation with an offering by Prenner and Levitsky ( page 2761) on the current management of colon cancer in the setting of organ transplantation.
