Pancreas transplants in the United States have declined by more than 30% over the last decade, despite significant improvements in outcomes. “The AJT Report” examines the many reasons why this procedure isn't getting the attention it should. Also in this issue, a new report from OPTN/UNOS indicates that more than two million life years have been saved through transplantation over the past 25 years.
