This spring, a district court judge ordered that two children receive increased priority for lungs from adolescent and adult donors. We explore what this ruling might mean for the future of OPTN policy. Also in this issue, we look at a new Health and Human Services guideline designed to minimize disease transmission in organ transplantation.
