The subfamily Lycorininae Cushman & Rohwer [Cushman RA, 1920] is discovered from Indonesia based on a single new species, Lycorina longicauda Shimizu, sp. nov., which can be easily distinguished from any other Lycorina species by its longer ovipositor sheath and colour pattern. We also provide a key to the five species of Lycorina known from the Oriental region.
