New austral records of massive swarming by a chloropid fly, C hloromerus striatifrons ( D iptera: C hloropidae)

Mass aggregations, including aerial swarms, of a yellow swarming chloropid fly are reported from A ustralia. The species, C hloromerus striatifrons ( B ecker), is endemic to south‐eastern A ustralia and has been reported swarming only once previously, 40 years ago.
