New records of D elphacini ( H emiptera: D elphacidae: Delphacinae) from A ustralia, T imor L este and P apua N ew G uinea, and an updated checklist of D elphacini from A ustralia

Examination of D elphacini holdings in A ustralian insect collections and comparison with material from overseas collections has revealed several species not previously recorded from A ustralia, T imor L este and/or P apua N ew G uinea. Newly recorded species from A ustralia are A nchodelphax olenus Fennah, C emus sauteri ( M uir), F alcotoya aurinia   F ennah, H agamiodes fuscicaudata ( M uir), H orcoma colorata lacteipennis ( M uir), L atistria placitus (van D uzee), N emetor sabinus   F ennah, N ilaparvata bakeri ( M uir), N ilaparvata myersi ( M uir), N umata corporaali ( M uir), N ycheuma coctum ( Y ang), P erkinsiella bakeri ( M uir), R hombotoya pseudonigripennis ( M uir), T agosodes pusanus ( D istant), T oya bridwelli ( M uir). Newly recorded species from T imor L este are F alcotoya aurinia , H orcoma colorata lacteipennis , L atistria placitus , N ycheuma coctum and T agosodes pusanus . Newly recorded species from P apua N ew G uinea are H agamiodes fuscicaudata and L aodelphax striatellus ( F allén). An updated checklist of A ustralian D elphacini is provided. [Correction added on 19 December 2013, after first online publication: ‘ L aodelphax striatellus ’ has been removed from the list of newly recorded species.]
