Facial trauma sustained during an accident by a 17‐year‐old female patient who wore thin‐wire fixed appliances caused partial luxation and displacement of tooth 21. Because it was attached to a fixed appliance, the tooth did not lose contact with the socket, which significantly improved the prognosis. This study describes the method, course and result of the treatment carried out over a two‐year period after the trauma occurred.
