In recent years, the uranium prospecting for sandstone type deposits in northeastern of Ordos basin have been made a satisfying progress, and found several deposits that located in the northwestern of Zaohuohao uranium deposit. Different to traditional roll front type sandstonehosted uranium deposit, the founded uranium mineralization mainly occurred in the contact area between green sandstone and gray sandstone. The authors focus on their geochemical characteristics and controlling factors, although some research about uranium mineralization and controlling factors have been done(Li et al., 2006).
