manzhouli area, but aging of the metamorphic rocks has always been a question. We find that the late paleozoic metamorphic rocks have been determined for the first time by diluted method, zircon U-Pb ages, and combining regional stratigraphic. With the zircon U-Pb isotopic dating there are three age results, 378 ± 3.8 Ma, 295.6 ± 7.2 Ma, 240~260 Ma, the former is original zircon age,and later two are neonatal zircons by twice metamorphisms. Based on studies of petrology and geochemistry characteristics, and combined with regional geological datas, the paper concludes that The original rocks are sandstone sedimentary clastic rocks and there two metamorphisms in middle hercynian (C2) and late hercynian. The study of the metamorphic rocks could be useful for analyzing on uranium and polymetallic metallogenic foreground.
