So far, many models have been put forward to calculate the pressure, volume and temperature (PVT) properties of supercritical water, but the vast majority of them are equations of state (EOS). Of the EOS, most have many parameters and cannot be solved analytically. While these equations are extended to mixtures, many experimental data are needed to determine the mixed parameters in them. In addition, the parameterization of many equations uses inaccurate data (more or less), and thus bring large deviations or uncertainties to the relevant equations. In contrast, cubic equations have fewer parameters. They can be solved analytically and do not need many experimental data when extended to mixtures. Considering the above points, a new multiparameter cubic EOS is proposed in this work:
