The Yaochong molybdenum deposit is located in Xinxian County, Henan Province, China, which is a medium porphyry molybdenum deposit formed in Early Cretaceous in the Dabie multimetal minerogenetic belt. The Yaochong molybdenum deposit has >4 t Mo reserves with an average grade of 0.062wt% (Li et al., 2013). Molybdenum mineralization is associated with the Yaochong granite porphyry. As a new discovered deposit, its scientific research is weak. This paper chose the Yaochong Mo deposit as the objective of the research to analyze S and Pb isotope and discuss its ore-forming materials.
