Gangdese metallogenic belt is one of the most important copper polymetallic metallogenic belt in Tibetan Plateau.Lakange porphyry Cu-Mo deposit in the Gangdese metallogenic belt is located in central and southern east Tibet Lhasa block in the Tethys tectonic domain, which is one of the key deposit of qinghai-tibet plateau geological survey project evaluation in recent years. Lakange porphyry Cu-Mo deposit was discovered in 80s of twentieth century, and the research work is low degree relatively on the whole. In recent years, the public exploration evaluation and scientific research work are developped with the deepening of geological survey project. The Re-Os isotope dating techniques of molybdenite was applied, aiming at determining the metallogenic age of Lakange deposit accurately. The work can make up the deficiency of previous research in metallogenic age and reveal the complex mineralization process.
