It is generally accepted that the ore body is controlled by structure, and mineralization has a close relationship with Yanshan magma intrusion (Tian et al., 2002; Kong et al., 2006; Yu et al., 2010; Lan et al., 2011). The deposit occurs mainly in the Yanshanian metaalkaline volcanic complex and is characterized by the enrichment of Cerium. This work describes the main features of the ore-forming fluids, the metallogenic materials, the temperature and pressure, the metallogenetic epoch and the metallogenesis of the Chishan deposit as well as advances in the research and development of this deposit in recent years.
