The Da Hongshan iron deposit , which located in the east-west tectonic belts of Kunlun Mountains, the northern margin of drape strip of Burhan Buda Mountain, is a typical Skarn deposit.Da Hongshan iron ore deposits are mainly composed of iron ore, and rich in minerals such as copper、lead and zinc.The deposit is consisted of three sizes of ore bodies which are mainly situated in or out of the contact zone between the marble of carboniferous and the Indo china epoch pale red monzonitic granite . The shape of ore bodies which controlled by contact belts assume lenticular and veinlike. magnetite、chalcopyrite、 galena and sphalerite are main metallic minerals ,and the nonmetallic mineral mainly include actinolite、chlorite、 calcite、epidote.
