In Jiaodong Peninsula, abundant gold deposits are distributed along the margins of Mesozoic intrusive rocksmainly of (Yang et al., 2003; Zhou et al., 2003; Chen et al., 2004). The regional faults between the intrusive rocks and Archean metamorphic rock are always the orecontrolling faults. The Zhaoping Fault is one of them, which spread on the eastern margin of Linglong massif with nearly NNE direction and SE dip. The relationship between the faults and Mesozoic intrusive rocks are always the point of research, such as the genetic relationship, the features of the fault shape and characteristic of distribution, the geodynamic mechanism etc. This paper will discuss the structures’ formation and the patterns they presented, companying with the plutons’ intrusion in Mesozoic, with an evident coming from a seismic profile cutting across Zhaoping Fault.
