During recent years, some geological scholars[3] have made important discoveries in the exploration of Lucaogou Formation in Jimusar Sag. The research shows there are following characteristics in tight oil reservoir of Lucaogou Formation in Jimusar Sag: 1) the source rock and reservoir live together and are frequently interbedded; 2) the upper and lower reservoir segments (‘sweet points’) with high oil saturation[4-5]; 3) large thickness, wide distribution and abundant resources; 4) The reservoir belongs to middle-low porosity and low-ultra low permeability tight dolomite reservoir. The present experimental analysis technology is basically built for conventional reservoir[5], which cannot meet the needs of further exploration and development for tight oil reservoir with above unconventional characteristics. Therefore, through various experimental analysis and comparison of oil core sample, the author made numbers of innovations and breakthroughs in experiment method and technology. A multi-parameters joint test technology is formed and applied in research on source rock features, reservoir lithology, physical property, oil bearing property and their inner relationship to promote the geological cognition in this area.
