Summary Male breast cancers ( MBC ) are rare, accounting for <1% of all breast cancers. The use of magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI ) for male breast cancer is not generally indicated. We present an unusual case where conventional imaging for a suspected MBC was equivocal and MRI was required to assist in diagnosis.
