Distributions of the active ingredients of the aflatoxin biocontrol product Aflasafe KE01 across the most vulnerable portions of Kenya were determined with 17 SSR loci. The four active ingredient haplotypes were all among the top 10 most frequent and each belonged to both a distinct vegetative compatibility group and a distinct clonal lineage containing greater than 25 haplotypes. The data provide baselines for assessing long‐term influences of biocontrol applications in highly vulnerable production areas of Kenya.
