This paper begins with examining the origins of Individual Educational Plans, before taking a critical approach to the concept, to highlight the shortcomings and flaws that can now be found with the concept. The call is made to move toward Personalised Planning models, which will have a greater impact on pupil outcomes, before reporting on how the Apple iP ad can be used as an effective intervention for pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities. The iP ad accessibility features are highlighted to show how pupil barriers to learning can be addressed, before making suggestions as to how Personalised Learning Plans can be created using the iP ad, and how Personalised Learning can be delivered.
