The European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education has recently undertaken a study, across all its member countries, of the impact on inclusion of mechanisms for funding special education. In this article, Felicity Fletcher‐Campbell presents some of the findings and discusses the messages which they have for policy makers in the UK.
