Dendrobium glomeratum Rolfe from Maluku and Sulawesi is illustrated. Its taxonomy, relationships, distribution and cultivation are discussed and a full description provided. The recently described Dendrobium sulawesiense J. Erfkamp & O. Gruss is considered conspecific. The status of the closely related D. crepidiferum J.J. Sm. is discussed. Background information on Maluku and Sulawesi is also provided.
