Summary. The new taxon Mimulus naiandinus J.M. Watson & von Bohlen ( Scrophulariaceae ) is an uncommon endemic from mid‐altitudes in the precordillera of central Chile. Of the South American species of Mimulus , only M. luteus L. var. variegatus (Lodd.) Hook. shares similarly bicoloured corollas of cream or pale yellow strongly overlaid with pink.
