In June 2001, Richard Wilson participated in a technical meeting on children's participation and protection in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission for Sierra Leone, organized by UNICEF and the Human Rights Forum of Sierra Leone. The Report ‘Children and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission for Sierra Leone’, will be delivered in late 2001 to the UN Security Council. This is his diary of the drafting process.
