Cover image: Eurasian red squirrel feeding on pine seeds. Comparing the personality of red squirrels between areas with only redsquirrels and areas invaded by the alien grey squirrel, the authors found that the spillover of an intestinal parasite from grey to redsquirrels (parasite‐mediated competition) resulted in a reduction of costly personality traits, such as activity. This could, ultimately, reduce foraging success in infected red squirrels. See pp. 1559–1569. Photo credit: Ambrogio Molinari.
