The ordering of the H atom in a single crystal of lead hydrogen arsenate has been monitored at 2 K steps in the temperature range 280 to 210 K. Single frames of data were collected using the neutron time‐of‐flight Laue method, with data‐collection times of less than 10 min. The results from these limited data sets are shown to be of value in describing the ordering trend in the structure.
