Modifications are described that eliminate ice build‐up during data collection from cryo‐cooled protein crystals using an RAXIS IIC imaging‐plate system and its associated cool nitrogen gas stream apparatus (both supplied by Molecular Structure Corporation, The Woodlands, Texas, USA).
