Following the method proposed by Marín & Diéguez [ J. Appl. Cryst. (1995). 28 , 839–840], an algorithm has been developed for the complete simulation of any back‐reflection Laue pattern. In this work, the simulation has been successfully applied to Y 2 SiO 5 crystals.
