The feasibility of using soft X‐rays from the Aladdin storage ring for small‐angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS) experiments was demonstrated through the study of the diffraction patterns of polyethylene, paraffin and polystyrene latex spheres using monochromated radiation in the range 4.0–7.1 Å.
